Description

This dataset presents the numerical results of a research project aimed at evaluating self-regulated learning abilities among university students. The applied scale measures four key dimensions of learning strategies: (a) self-management of learning, (b) conscious motivational strategies for learning, (c) perception of academic performance, and (d) deep learning techniques. Data were collected in Chile and Ecuador, providing valuable insights into the self-regulated learning capacities of university students in the Latin American context.

In this research, the Learning Management of University Students scale (GAEU-1) was administered to a sample of 1,316 university students (Chile: 631; Ecuador: 685). The scale was applied in a self-report format, and data were obtained after each participant provided informed consent. Throughout all stages of the study, ethical standards for research involving human participants were strictly followed, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Helsinki Declaration and the Nuremberg Code.
