Description

Experiments were conducted to characterize lipid metabolism during the interaction between the viviparous tsetse fly (Glossina morsitans morsitans) and its obligate endosymbiotic bacteria (Wigglesworthia glossinidia) during pregnancy. Assays were performed with adult females of Glossina morsitans morsitans from Yale University following removal of symbiont by antibiotic treatment. The raw data is stored in the enclosed Excel files and images.
