Macrofauna of a flood-tidal sand-delta channel in the Knysna estuarine bay

Description

An un-named channel (here called the Woodbourne Channel) forming part of the sand delta in the mouth of the warm-temperate Knysna estuarine bay, South Africa, can be considered a micro-estuary or a salt marsh creek. These data record the macrofauna of the bare sand and seagrass (Cape eelgrass or Nanozostera capensis) occurring along its short length from its head to its junction with the main delta system.
