This data set presents a detailed, annual accounting of NASA's cost obligations for Project Apollo and its major components between 1960 and 1973. According to this reconstruction, the United States spent $25.8 billion on the hardware, facilities, and overhead directly associated with Project Apollo, which agrees with the official estimate provided to Congress within 1.5%.
