Description

The format of small-sized instances is briefly introduced as follows: -First line: In the first line there are 2 numbers: the first is the number of jobs and the second the number of machines; -Second line: the elements of the second line are the numbers of operations for jobs; -Operation processing constraints: binary numbers are the processing constraint associated with jobs. For example, in the file SI_1.TXT, the third line “0 1 1 1 1 0” denotes that the first operation of job 3 can be processed by machines 2 and 3, whereas the second operation of job 3 can be processed by machines 1 and 2. -Processing times: integer numbers are the processing times for each operation of each job on the corresponding machines. For example, in the file SI_1.TXT, line 1 “30 -1 -1 12 -1 13” means that the processing times of the first operation of job 1 on machines 1 is 30, and the processing times of the second operation of job 1 on machines 1 and 3 are 12 and 13. Note that the “-1” denotes the related operations of certain jobs do not satisfy the processing constraints; -Matrix of Sequence-dependent setup times; -Matrix of Sequence-dependent setup costs.
