Convenience goods prices in Latvia for first quarter of 2020

Final goods prices monitoring and analysis is very important part of consumer behavior estimation. In Latvia there are not a lot of big retailers. This database continue prices monitoring started in 2018 and show data observation for first quarter of 2020. In 2020 biggest retailers was Maxima and Rimi. In 2018 only one of them had they own internet shop. In 2019 second retailer open his own internet shop. At the same time, the market is preparing for the arrival of a new major retailer - Lidl. This indicates increased competition in the retail market. In such conditions prices monitoring can show competition influence on market. Data set represent final (mostly convenience) goods prices monitoring in Latvia.
