Description

These datasets contain raw data on benthic foraminiferal abundance and stable isotope, which is used for statistical analysis. Results suggest the change in the past productivity with time. The interval from the late Eocene to the early Oligocene marked increased productivity with a maximum gain at the Oligocene-Eocene boundary. During the middle Eocene, the proto-Antarctic Circumpolar Current initiated at a deeper depth and may have enhanced productivity.
