Steps to reproduce

How the codebook is generated is discussed in the article. Thematic coding of the textbooks was done on the content (text and illustrations), activities, and assessments excepting those that ask recall of learnt content. On the teacher guides unit outcomes, role of the students, alternative teaching approaches, and enrichment material were coded. The syllabi were coded entirely.
