Steps to reproduce

Data Preparation: Open "data_Campos_and_Balcombe2024.xlsx" and familiarise yourself with the dataset structure and variables. This step is crucial for understanding the inputs and outputs of the scripts. Running the R Script: Install R and the required libraries as listed in the "UCM_Bayesian_R_Code_Campos_and_Balcombe2024.R" script. Open the script in R or an R-compatible IDE. Run the script, adjusting file paths if necessary. Running the Gretl Script: Install Gretl from the official website. Open the "VECM_Gretl_Code_Campos_and_Balcombe2024.inp" file in Gretl. Execute the script step-by-step, observing the output at each stage for stationarity, lag order selection, and cointegration tests. Additional Notes Ensure that your environment (R and Gretl versions) is compatible with the scripts. Versions used in the original study are mentioned in the respective scripts.
