Plastic beverage bottles without a deposit on the Dutch market

Description

This dataset belongs to the public report that we are preparing on Dutch plastic beverage bottles. In the months November 2025 to January 2026 various sales outlets for beverage bottles were visited and beverage bottles were purchased that are not part of the deposit refund system. These bottles were analysed with respect to their residues after consumption, various design aspects and a recyclability parameter (the mass share of targeted material).
