Description

Here presents a detailed seismic study of the Dante’s Domes OCC (DDOCC), with the main objective of characterizing structural variability and magmatic and tectonic history in this location. Downward continuation technique, combined with traveltime tomography and full waveform inversion (FWI), are employed to process the seismic refraction data from MCS dataset at domes to obtain high-fidelity velocity model. A benefit of creating an accurate velocity model through FWI is that it can be used as the input for reverse time migration (RTM), a form of pre-stack depth migration that implicitly filters much seafloor scattering, and can better resolve deeper structure. The dataset includes traveltime tomography models, FWI models, and RTM images. All the files are in SEGY format.
