Collective Imagination for Sustainability: A Complex Systems Approach
Complex systems analysis of collective imagination for sustainability during an "engineering fiction" learning experience in a high school classroom. I qualitatively coded group discourse data during two interaction episodes at two levels of analysis (individual cognition of talk turns and collective imagination of discursive episodes) and employed nonlinear computational analysis techniques (sliding window entropy, state space grids, and lag sequential analysis) to examine the multilevel time series data.
