Data Downscaling Model in Western Uzbekistan

Description

The study is analysing day and night temperature trends over the period 1987-1990 and 2013-2017. The trend is compared with the climate change model over the XXIst century. The Day degrees are used to provide an insight into the climatic impact on crop growth along plants physiological tolerance taking into low and high temperatures. The methodology may be fine-tuned and adjusted to other climate patterns. Raw meteorological data collected for day and night temperatures per day over the period 1986-1990 and 2013-2017 at the level of four meteorological stations to the West of Uzbekistan – excel sheets. Trend in hot days temperature (>35°C) foreseen occurrence by the global model applied to Uzbekistan (World bank open portal) – excel sheet. Analyse of freezing nights (T<0°C) events in Winter, of Tropical nights (T°>20°C) and hot days (T>35°C) events occurrence – excel sheets calculations and graphs.
