Description

Table A.1 – Full suite of SIMS data used for U-Pb dating These tables compile the SHRIMP-RG data for spot analyses of zircons from representative samples of rock units that are presented in Rosenberg et al. (2019). The data include all new samples analysed, plus re-processed data from earlier SHRIMP-RG analyses undertaken at the joint USGS- Stanford University facility and the Australian National University facility by C.J.N. Wilson (Victoria University of Wellington), but not previously published. Table rows with strikeout formatting indicate data not used in the preferred age determinations, generally due to excessive proportions of common Pb. Table A.2 – Full suite of SIMS data used for U-Th model-age estimates This table provides SHRIMP-RG data for spot analyses of zircons from samples of middle Huka Falls Formation pumice (RW12001) and Tauhara Formation lava (RW15023) that are presented in Rosenberg et al. (2019). Instrument files from U-Th analyses were reduced and processed by B.L.A. Charlier and C.J.N. Wilson (Victoria University of Wellington) to the data presented in this table, using in-house techniques used in Charlier et al. (2003, 2005).
