The dataset provides data for the design of a L1-S1 spinal segment model. The multibody geometry is obtained from a synthetic specimen (Sawbones SKU3440), but the here provided input data can be adapted to any idealised geometry. The model groups all the passive elements (intervertebral discs, ligaments, facet joints) as a revolute joint with a 3-degree polynomial angle-moment law. The repository includes: - Vertebral lamped parameters (i.e., centre of masses, masses, ,direction of principal axis of the body, principal moments of inertia). - Revolute joints position and the parameters to characterize the vertebral joints in terms of reaction moment.
