Description

This study emerged with the idea of what could be done as an alternative to chemicals that cause environmental pollution. The experiment was established to find an answer to the question of what would happen if the proteins produced for the healthy muscle development of the human body were used in plant production. In addition to the control group in which there was no plant nutrition element, commercial fertilizers were also used as the most important witness.

Steps to reproduce

Mazarmort pepper variety was used as plant material. All pepper seedlings used in the experiment were grown from seeds in trays containing peat moss (Characteristics of peat moss are given in Table 2) in the plant growth chamber of Department of Horticulture in Siirt University. Conventionally, 30 to 45 days old indeterminate pepper seedlings (Capsicum annuum L. cv. Mazamort) were transplanted (one per pot) before treatment into plastic pots (10 Liters of volume) containing peat moss media. Saucers were placed under each pot to prevent leaching. Plants were grown in a plant growing chamber on raised benches, under 16/8 hrs light. Temperature was adjusted to 28/22 degrees Celsius day/night. Pepper plants were cultivated for 108 days to record the necessary growth parameters.
