Description

Physicochemical dataset for bulk soils and soil organic matter fractions as well as figures of merit for statistical analyses (Anova, t-tests, linear mixed effect i.e., LME models and Spearman correlations) and predicted parameters of soil organic matter turnover models (turnover time and transfer coefficient between mineral fraction and occluded light fraction). This dataset is supplementary to a manuscript in preparation by Dolui et al (Soil organic matter stabilization by polyvalent cations in a buried alkaline soil, under review), a study which explores carbon dynamics of paleosols in burial and erosional transects of the Great Plains, Nebraska.
