This data related to the research article entitled “Exercise until exhaustion cause muscle and liver damage in Rugby Wheelchair athletes”. We report original data about muscle and hepatic damage biomarkers in nine Rugby Weelchair athletes after exercise test until exhaustion. Lactate increased after maximal test, but did not exceed the anaerobic threshold. There were significant changes in hepatic biomarkers (AST, ALT) and muscle damage (CK). Carbonyl protein was unchanged.
