Description

AOD products derived from MODIS and AERONET instruments in order to analyze the aerosol levels over the Metropolitan Area of Sao Paulo during a period of six years (2014-2019) were considered for validation again AOD data obtained from WRF-Chem model for June 2017. A spatiotemporal window methodology was used, assuming that the aerosol plume is homogeneous within a certain time-scale limit.

Steps to reproduce

To use this data, you must first download the AOD data from the MODIS and AERONET instruments. The second step is to use the scripts provided by me to perform the analysis between the two instruments. All the scripts that are necessary for this analysis are provided in the "scripts" folder. All scripts are numbered and divided for each type of processing. Having the analysis of the MODIS and AERONET instruments, it is necessary to install and run the WRF-Chem model with the options that I provide in the "data_wrf" folder. There, I give you all the "namelist" used in my work.
