Athina KekelouDescription
This data has been produced from literature data and with the use of fitted equations to describe better the partitioning of trace elements from the endolymph-otolith (fish) system and the inorganic system. The purpose was to answer the question: Is the minor element partitioning coefficient from endolymph into otolith numerically equivalent to the one from an aqueous solution into aragonite? D= partitioning coefficient De= partitioning coefficient from endolymph to otolith Dw= partitioning coefficient from water to otolith R= ratio of the minor element/calcium
