Title of program: LANDAU Catalogue Id: AAUI_v1_0 Nature of problem The Landau and the Vavilov distributions are used to describe the energy loss of charged particles traversing a thin layer of matter. For Monte Carlo stimulations it is of particular interest to have a random number generator for these distributions. Versions of this program held in the CPC repository in Mendeley Data AAUI_v1_0; LANDAU; 10.1016/0010-4655(74)90091-5 This program has been imported from the CPC Program Library held at Queen's University Belfast (1969-2019)
