Methods The dataset was generated from experimental investigations conducted on a laboratory-scale integrated multi-purpose solar thermal energy system developed at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, India (26.14°N, 91.74°E). The system consists of a flat-plate solar air collector integrated with agricultural drying, domestic water heating, and space heating units through an insulated air distribution network. Experiments were performed under outdoor conditions during June 2025 on representative clear-sky days. Solar irradiance, ambient temperature, collector inlet and outlet air temperatures, drying chamber temperature, water temperature, room temperature, and airflow rate were measured using calibrated instruments, including a pyranometer, K-type thermocouples with a digital temperature indicator, and a hot-wire anemometer. Moisture content of chilli, tea leaves, and fish was determined using the standard gravimetric oven-drying method. Experimental data were recorded at regular time intervals and used to evaluate collector thermal efficiency, useful heat gain, drying rate, moisture ratio, water heating performance, and space heating performance using established energy balance equations. Uncertainty analysis was carried out using the Kline–McClintock method, while exergy analysis and techno-economic assessment were performed using standard thermodynamic and economic models. The mathematical model was validated against experimental measurements using statistical indicators, including the root mean square error (RMSE). The repository contains raw measurements, processed datasets, model validation data, uncertainty calculations, exergy analysis, techno-economic results, environmental assessment, and the source data used to generate all figures and tables reported in the associated publication.
