Description

The research dataset includes changes in elemental content, biopolymer content, and optical properties of soil EPS during the two-step extraction process of the CER method. This study provides comprehensive information on the extraction dynamics and spectral characteristics of soil EPS. Analysis of soil EPS is expected to disentangle the extracellular responses of soil microbes and reveal the ecological functions of extracellular products in soil, aiming to manage microbial-mediated nutrient turnover and soil quality better.
