Description
Supplemental Tables and figures of manuscript entitled "Incidence and prevalence of generalized pustular psoriasis in multi-ethnic Johor Bahru, Malaysia: a population-based cohort study using routinely captured electronic health records from 2010 to 2020" We used data drawn from our local clinical information system, which links primary and secondary care facilities and has captured over 98% of the population in Johor Bahru, to estimate the incidence and prevalence of dermatologist diagnosed GPP over 11 years and examine the frequency of GPP flares and trigger factors. We show that: 1. the incidence and prevalence of GPP in Johor Bahru was 27.2 per million person years (95% CI 22.8-31.6) and 198 per million, respectively; 2. incidence and prevalence of GPP varied by age, sex, ethnicity and presence of associated psoriasis vulgaris; 3. common trigger factors of GPP included withdrawal of systemic corticosteroids, infections, and use of traditional medicines; 4. flare frequency and trigger factors varied between GPP patients with and without associated psoriasis vulgaris.
