Description

Data and Code Description This dataset contains zebrafish behavior metrics and R scripts for analysis and visualization. The data includes 26 metrics, such as baseline activity (BSL1-4), visual (VSR, VMR) and acoustic startle responses (ASR), habituation (ASH), interstimulus intervals (ISI, IEI), inter-bout intervals (IBI), and memory retention (ASR2/3), measured in pixels per second. Nonparametric bootstrapping was used for statistical analyses, along with Kruskal-Wallis tests and Benjamini-Hochberg corrections for multiple comparisons. Effect sizes were calculated using Strictly Standardized Median Differences (SSMD). R scripts are provided to generate cloud plots, SSMD heatmaps, and multidimensional scaling (MDS) plots. KNIME was used for data processing, while all visualizations were created in R Studio. (Quantified using custom KNIME workflows (version 4.6.3) in combination with R scripts (R Core Team 2023) for statistical analysis and visualization. Statistical Analysis and Visualization Tools: Employed R add-on packages ggplot2 and RColorBrewer).
