Description
This RCT compared three types of exercises (Aerobic training, Body-weight resistance training and Isometric resistance training) on resting blood pressure markers (systolic blood pressure [SBP], diastolic blood pressure [DBP], pulse pressure [PP], mid-atrial pressure [MAP]) and pulse rate. The participants were 30-45 years (middle) age group having either pre-hypertension or stage I hypertension. They again stratified based on gender. The results showed all three interventions are equally effective in controlling primary outcome measures i.e. blood pressure.
