Description

The dataset presented in Papaioanou and Suorineni (2016)’s study is used to establish and validate the proposed method for stope stability prediction. This dataset, consist of 226 cases, was collected at a quantity of mines in the New South Wales Central West, Australia, and additional data were obtained from numerous underground operations in Western Australia, Queensland, and Victoria, Australia. During the data collection stage, authors developed a model dataset to allow for benchmarking and confirmation of all other data provided. They also worked on the database to identify any outliers and discussed results with site geotechnical engineers to validate data.
