Description

Supplementary data to the manuscript by Bukeyeva et al. "Dataset on the phagocytic and oxidative capacity of monocytes and granulocytes in the combined therapy of S.aureus infection in mice". Here we are the assessment of phagocytic and oxidative activity of mouse peripheral blood monocytes and granulocytes is presented in the complex therapy of cefazolin and coordination compound СC-195. Bacterial pneumonia caused by the drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus SCAID OTT1-2022 was treated for 5 days. The therapy was carried out both in a mono – a coordination compound CC-195 in a dosage of 10.0 mg/kg and a cefazolin antibiotic at a dosage of 25.0 mg/kg and also in combination CC-195 (10.0 mg/kg) + cefazolin (25.0 mg/kg). Blood samples were collected five days after treatment and five days after treatment was completed. This was done to evaluate how the immune system reacts to antibiotic discontinuation.
