Description

Balance represents a prevalent issue encountered by the geriatric or elderly population. This concern not only impacts the well-being of individuals but also amplifies the likelihood of experiencing falls. Consequently, those who are physically fragile become especially susceptible to negative consequences like impaired mobility, fatalities stemming from falls, and the need for hospitalization due to minor strains. Objective of study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the effects of three distinct interventions – virtual reality, functional electrical stimulation, and static cycling – on the dynamic balance of older adults.
