The population of this research is all creative small businesses in the city of Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Three creative sub sectors: culinary, fashion and craft are chosen as the focus of study since those are the leading creative sub-sector in the city of Malang as well as in Indonesia. The data were gathered using structured questionnaires.
