Description

Overview of articles included in systematic review of tranexamic acid use for hemostasis in Mohs and other skin surgery. The review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Nine studies, including randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, and case-control studies, met the inclusion criteria. Data extraction focused on study design, sample size, intervention details, and outcomes related to bleeding and hemostatic effectiveness.
