This dataset provides high-resolution pollen-based reconstructions of precipitation variability from the Ili Basin in Central Asia, covering the past ~4,500 years. These records offer insights into long-term climatic shifts and their impact on regional ecosystems, contributing to the understanding of climate change and human activity along the ancient Silk Road. The dataset is intended for use in paleoclimate studies and the exploration of past climate-human interactions.
