Design And Fabrication of a Presenter Wristband
Description
A presenter wristband that uses Bluetooth is a modern variation of the traditional presentation remote control. Instead of relying on traditional radio frequency (RF) technology to communicate with the computer, these Bluetooth-enabled remote presenters use Bluetooth connectivity to establish a wireless connection. They can work with a wider range of devices, including computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, as most modern devices come with Bluetooth capabilities. A wristband is a simple, often flexible, and adjustable strip or band that is designed to be worn around the wrist, typically for functional, decorative, or identification purposes. It is designed to be easily worn and to carry around. The objective of this research is to create a functional prototype that seamlessly integrates the functionalities of a remote presenter and wristband with scrolling or sliding app controls, offering a comprehensive and personalized device. The project's scope includes the design and fabrication of the wristband, scroll or slide app integration, user interface development, Bluetooth connectivity, testing, and optimization. The wristband's design prioritizes comfort, aesthetics, and usability. Intuitive controls and customization options are implemented to allow users to navigate through scroll or slide apps and personalize their preferences based on their religious practices or personal preferences. Bluetooth connectivity is established to enable seamless synchronization between the wristband and compatible devices, facilitating the transfer of data and control over scroll or slide apps wirelessly. Extensive testing ensures the reliability, responsiveness, and compatibility of the wristband, with user feedback informing iterative improvements and refinements. This design project provides many opportunities to increase knowledge and experience because it can apply the use of design software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD. Basic engineering calculations, fabrication, and identifying and solving problems are required especially in the construction process. Overall, the objectives of this research have been achieved. The presenter wristband works well. However, this project still has shortcomings and weaknesses that can still be improved and has the potential to grow in the future.

Steps to reproduce
After gathering all the relevant information, the project undergoes design process. In this step, from the knowledge pick from the review is used to make a sketch design that suitable for the project. The drawing process is divided into two categories, which are: 1. Sketching – All the ideas for the casing fabrication are outlined on the paper first to ensure that idea selection can be made after this. 2. SolidWorks Software – The selected design or concept sketched is transferred to solid modeling and engineering drawing using SolidWorks software. After several designs sketched, the design consideration has been made, and one model has been chosen. The selected design outlined is then transferred to solid modeling and engineering drawing using SolidWorks software. Next, after the needed material is listed, the acquisition step takes places. There are only a few materials that need to buy such circuit board for ppresenter wristband. Some of the required equipment is well-prepared by the university. After all parts needed had been gathered, the project proceeds to the next step that is the fabrication process. The fabrication process that involved is 3D printing. After every process was finished, the parts are checked to make sure that the output of the process obeys the product requirement. Once all parts are processed, the parts are assembled together to form a remote presenter wristband.
