Data on Cyberbullying Victimization, Depression, Anxiety and Stress

This dataset belongs to a sample of 561 university students from both public and private universities in Malaysia. This dataset consists of the demographic characteristics of the sample and the data on two main variables, cyberbullying victimisation and the negative emotional states. Cyberbullying victimisation consist of four sub-dimensions which are public humiliation, malice, unwanted contact and deception. The negative motional states consist of depression, anxiety and stress.


Steps to reproduce

Data were acquired using a cross-sectional online survey from 561 respondents. The online survey was created using Google Forms. The online survey consisted of four main sections i.e., consent form, demographic characteristics, Cyberbullying Experiences Survey (CES) Victimisation scale and the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale 21 (DASS21). Google Forms generated a unique web link that offer effective ways to recruit participants and collect responses.
