Research is based on HRIS Symbolic adoption in Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in India. Research hypotheses include that there is a significant relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence on symbolic adoption; There is a positive effect of symbolic adoption on creativity; and Symbolic adoption mediates the relationship between UTAUT factors (performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence) and creativity. Research findings shows that HRIS symbolic adoption partial mediates the relationship between performance expectancy, social influence and creativity. Data set was gathered from 211 employees who are using HRIS in National Capital Region working in Small and Medium Enterprises.. Paper and pencil questionnaires were given to the employees working is SMEs. Prior permissions were taken from the organizations and one HR executive (in each participating) facilitated the process. All the participants were briefly instructed about the purpose of the study. All the filled questionnaires were collected from the assigned HR executive.
