Description

Gastric carcinoma tissues were obtained from 31 patients treated by surgical resection. The patients were subdivided into two groups according to the presence of peritoneal involvement, either macroscopically (P+) or microscopically (Cy+) at the time of the surgery: 19 patients had no peritoneal involvement at the time of diagnosis (P0 and Cy0) while 12 had peritoneal involvement, (P+ or Cy+). High-quality RNA was extracted from tumor gastric mucosa and healthy mucosa. Sequencing was performed on an Ion S5™ Sequencer with Torrent Suite™ Software v6 (Thermo Fisher Scientific). The analyses were performed with a range of fold <−2 and >+2 and a p value < 0.05, using Transcriptome Analysis Console Software (version 4.0.2), certified for AmpliSeq analysis.
