The crystalline phases and their concentrations in the inner and outer cathode surfaces of spent Zn-Mn alkaline batteries were identified by X-ray diffractometry and their relative concentrations were calculated by Rietveld refinements. Raw X-ray data are presented. Data are presented for six samples in the (A, B, C) and (D, E, F) cathode regions. Uploaded Figure 2 descibes these regions.
