Description

This dataset includes primary data from Knouse et al., Chromosome Segregation Fidelity in Epithelia Requires Tissue Architecture, Cell (2018), https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cell.2018.07.042. This paper examined the relationship between tissue architecture and chromosome segregation fidelity. The folder Figure 2 includes three-dimensional plots of cell dimensions as published in Figure 2 and Supplemental Figure 2. These plots can be viewed as .html files and depict how cell shape varies across contexts. The folder Figure 3 includes raw movie files from live imaging of immature and mature mammary epithelial cell organoids in Matrigel. These movie files can be viewed on various imaging platforms (ie MetaMorph) and reveal increased duration of mitosis, specifically prometaphase and metaphase, in the absence of tissue architecture.
