Description

Yellow disease dataset on red chili, eggplant, and long bean plants offers a collection of leaf images collected in farmers' fields in Bogor Regency, Bogor City, Cianjur Regency, West Java, Indonesia. This data was collected from July 22 to August 9, 2023. This dataset consists of 5,095 leaf images. This dataset consists of plant leaves showing symptoms of yellow disease and healthy plant leaves. This dataset consists of two classes, namely Begomovirus positive and Begomovirus negative. The photos were taken in different fields in the morning with sunny weather conditions, so these images were taken with natural lighting. The ambient temperature when the dataset was collected ranged from 29-31°C. The photos were taken using a cellphone camera with a 13 MP camera specification. The original images were taken in JPG format with varying sizes. The data was converted to 640 * 640 pixels. In addition, the images were annotated based on their class which had been adjusted to the molecular testing results using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique.

Steps to reproduce

Leaf images were taken in different farmer's fields using a mobile phone camera. The original images taken were multiplied using cropping techniques. After cropping the images, all photos were uploaded to Roboflow to resize the data by changing the size to 640*640 pixels. After that, the dataset was labeled using LabelImg software. The collected datasets were divided into two classes, namely Begomovirus positive and Begomovirus negative.
