Data in Brief Ageratum
Description
The aim is to identify the main phytochemical compounds present in the CH2Cl2 fraction of Agerantum hostonianum P. Mill using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Additionally, their antioxidant capacity is verified using the DPPH method as described by W. Brand-Williams, and their antimicrobial effectiveness is assessed through the determination of the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC).

Steps to reproduce
The following steps were carried out: the plant was harvested, maceration was performed in a solvent, followed by distillation, and subsequent identification of phytochemical compounds through gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The evaluation of antioxidant activity was conducted using the DPPH method, along with the assessment of antimicrobial activity through Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) determination.
