Description

Baseline skin temperature data for symptomatic chronic midportion Achilles tendinopathy participants and asymptomatic participants. The hypothesis of the research is that there would be a significant difference in midportion skin temperature between the limbs of the symptomatic participants, and between the symptomatic and asymptomatic participants. The data was captured using a FLIR ONE infrared thermal imaging camera in accordance with the TISEM checklist (Moreira et al., 2017). Further details on the methodology can be found in a published PhD thesis (http://usir.salford.ac.uk/id/eprint/61001/) The data shows that there is variability in TSK and that there are no significant differences, therefore the null hypothesis can be accepted.
