Nuclear extracts from mice uterus were subjected to a commercial DNMT activity ELISA assay. DNMT activity, which in this assay is proportional to the optical density measured, was detected by reading the absorbance generated by each sample using a microplate spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm.
