Description

The current dataset was generated from the sterilization treatment on both solid and liquid cultured microorganisms by an in-house built low-temperature air plasma jet (LTAPJ) device. For solid surface treatment, different factors (distance, cell concentration, and time) were tested, and diameter of inhibition zone was recorded. For liquid culture treatment, colony forming unit (CFU) was calculated after the tests. Four different microorganisms were included in the experiments – Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Candida albicans ATCC 14053, and Trichophyton rubrum ATCC 28188.
