Relationship between core stability with dynamic balance and coordination among boxing players: A cross-sectional study

Description

Core stability is crucial component to determine the performance of player in their game also it predicts the chances of injury during game. Boxing is a combat sport which requires great amount of dynamic balance and coordination. Punches determine the winner which requisite dynamic balance for attacking and dodging and coordination for landing a perfect punches. The main aim of study was to see the influence of stability of core and its attribtes on dynamic balance and coordination. A total of 38 samples were recruited from boxing academy with the age bracket of 18-25 years. The outcome measures was Double leg lowering test, Closed kinetic chain upper extremity test for core stability and Y-balance test, Alternate hand wall toss test for dynamic balance and coordination.
