Kat RoseDescription
Data includes results from experimental determination of hydroxylbastnäsite-(La) solubility and La carbonate aqueous speciation. Plots of concentrations of La measured using inductively coupled mass-spectrometry, the activity of bicarbonate and pH(T) in experimental solutions modeled using thermodynamic open-source modeling software, HCh, are shown. Comparison of stability field between La-carbonate from this study and Nd-carbonate species from previous works is drawn as a function of temperature and fluid composition. Tabulated values for dominant La-carbonate and Nd-carbonate formation constants and MRB parameters given. LA-UR-25-20862
