The Águilas Arc in SE Spain comprises the three tectonic complexes of the Internal Betic Chain, covered by unconformable Middle Miocene to recent sediments. New U-Pb detrital zircon data provide maximum protolith depositional ages, while zircon U-Pb zircon ages of metaigneous rocks yield further depositional age constraints.
