Description

Coordinates, diameters, and rock abundance values for a modified set of the Williams et al. (2018) cold spot craters. The data is as follows: 1. Longitude - East longitude in degrees of cold spot crater 2. Latitude - North latitude in degrees of cold spot crater 3. Diameter(m) - Rim-to-rim diameter in meters of cold spot crater 4. Diameter(km) - Rim-to-rim diameter in kilometers of cold spot crater 5. Surface - Crater location (0 = Mare, 1 = Highlands) 6. Min RA - Minimum Rock Abundance values of cold spot crater 7. Max RA - Maximum Rock Abundance values of cold spot crater 8. Mean RA - Mean Rock Abundance values of cold spot crater 9. NRA - Normalized Rock Abundance values of cold spot crater. Normalized Rock Abundance = Maximum - Mean Rock Abundance in a given region This data has been produced using cold spot craters from the Williams et al. (2018) dataset, which is publicly available via the Geosciences Node of the Planetary Data System (https://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/missions/lro/diviner.htm). All rock abundance values corresponding to these craters are derived from the Diviner GDR_L3 cylindrical 128 ppd Rock Abundance Maps (Bandfield et al., 2011), also publicly available via the Geosciences Node of the Planetary Data System.
