The aim of research consisted in exploring the ability to understand one's own emotions by individuals of the Generation Z

Steps to reproduce

French university newcomers enroled in Health education (2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2017/2018, 2019/2020), in technological training (2017/2018) and in speech therapy training (2022/2023) were asked to complete a survey (via lime survey) including items of the 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale. Item content validity and scale structural properties were analyzed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Measurement invariance demonstration and between-group comparisons were realized.
