Description

The study for which this data was collected aimed to examine the tomato value chain in the Lusaka city region, through a gender ‘lens’ by; (1) Establishing the practices carried out along the tomato value chain by men and women, (2) Analysing the challenges faced by men and women along the tomato value chain, and (3) Analysing the benefits accrued by men and women along the tomato value chain. Data was collected through face to face interviews with 232 tomato farmers.
