Description

First and second moments of complex refractive index spectra based on the Bruggeman effective medium approach for Asian and North African mineral dust aerosols. The wavelength spectrum and resolution is given in the file wavelength_range.txt Availabel regions are: - Northern Sahara - Southern Sahara - West Asia (Gobi desert) - East Asia The standard deviation of the spectra for each region is given in files with the _stdv_ designation. Files containing mean spectra are unmarked. The moments have been computed based on the size distributions published in Dubovik et al. (2002). References: ======== Bruggeman, D. A. G., (1935).
